I watched her video. When she did a recap of all the desctruction that was done to humanity by the boomers. It was the first time I almost puked from watching a online video. I forced myself to watch it. The boomers can keep their so called greatness. The boomers have a funny way of making the admirable look shamful and the shamful look admirable. Everytime I hear of one of them getting layed off and loosing their home I smile
Babyboomer conservatives maybe. But the ‘you conservatives’ you are talking to are totally different people and it isn’t fair to paint us all with that.
Boomers were the first generation to NOT work and sacrifice to ensure the next generation had a better life. They sabotaged life for the next generation by importing millions of people from third world countries to force down labour costs purely to increase their retirement investments. That’s on top of lazy parenting and driving big v8′s chewing through finite oil reserves as fast they could. God I hate em.

As a Generation Y’er, I am very annoyed that my generation has to clean up the shit the Boomer’s caused but somebody has to do it. The Gen X’ers have the ball now so I hope you guys don’t fuck up.
For people who think the whole Generation Game is founded on bad logic, if that were the case then you wouldn’t be able to see too many differences between someone born in 1971 compared to 1970 or 1972 right? Well I can see many difference there. So imagine how many are between 1947 and 1971. Also it’s a well-known Buddhist teaching that we are all conditioned beings, when we are not Englightened. The time you grew up in plays a huge role in that conditioning. Of course, some people transcend it

The only thing GenX’ers don’t do that Baby boomers did very well is protest. Baby boomers kicked up a stink when things didn’t go their way and they got a better life. GenX’ers don’t protest anything and apathy is at an all time high. However boomers didnt think of the world they would leave us

Jim Crowe law was abolished by all who had common sense. If you honestly think all Conservatives were for slavery then you need a reality check.
Jim Crowe law’s kept black people out of equality to any middle class settings. It was abolished in the VERY early 60′s. So tell me how US conservatives would’ve kept Jim Crowe laws alive?

I personally have a very strong beef with the whole “Generation Game”. The idea that you can conclude much about somebody by the year they were born in is to me wildly overhyped.
Sure labels like “Baby Boomer”, “Gen-X”, “Silent”, or what have you, might be useful for estimating how many kindergarten teachers will be needing in the coming few decades or how many college graduates you can expect in 20 years.
