I think my generation will be more driven with a more ethical background as leaders of America.
The “stoner hippie wear no shoes in a park and blame the government” mentality. Is what’s screwing up America today. The ultra liberal Pelosi, Reid, Obama, etc. is what paved the way for there politics and ideology…..
Time to wake up people.
THIS IS a generational issue. I was born in 41 and have seen this degradation of society creep in.
Blame the banks, blame whomever … WE THE PEOPLE sat quietly while total corruption seeped into our politics and economics.
You CAN NOT legislate ethics.
Our whole political system is NOW VOID OF ETHICS.
Belly up to the bar boys, if you are ethical then don’t try and squeeze your foot into a shoe that does not fit.
If you lack ethics YOU ARE THE PROBLEM!
I haven’t seen the whole film so please don’t think I am defending it but I did see a few clips. In what I saw, they didn’t lay blame to all boomers but to bankers and financiers who are boomers. In the generation before the financial houses were not publically owned, they were partnerships. And when you are spending a partners money you and your partners made sure no one took too much risk with their money. When it’s the publics money, as it is now, obviously they weren’t so risk aversive.

We are in this crisis because there was too much government spending and too much government regulation forcing uneconomic mandates. Taxes are NEVER the solution. The government spends too much; it does NOT tax too little.

The problem was TOO MUCH REGULATION. Government caused the crisis by regulations that forced banks to make improvident risky loans.
Conservatives are truthful and trust the people to be intelligent enough to see through the left-wing LIES.

Blame the boomers? I’m a 52 year old boomer. I’ve paid in more than $200,000 dollars for social security, Medicare,and medicaid. I’ve never collected a dime from the goverment for anything. I’ve been robbed. Now I understand the goverment would like to take a grab at my 401k. Just to be clear, not many boomers have collected anything yet. these sheep are still being shorn .

Perhaps since 9-11 the Government has been under control of the “Continuity if Government” team.

We’re in this crisis because we never really had a “Republic.” The whole charade has been a disguised form of slavery. Most U.S. politicians will die before this is over.

we are in an economic crisis because of the war we’ve been in since 9-11 and there being no war tax, the gov. has been using billions of dollars on the war using all the funds, if there had been a war tax since the start we would not be in the situation we are now, now to solve the problem I have no clue
