How spoiled are todays generation of kids compared to the baby boomers?
Who is more spoiled? and why? I heard that the baby boomers demanded and got everything they wanted, lived a better life and then screwed it up for everyone else after them. What do you think and why?

Ok so their are coming up to 4 generations after the baby boomers.
You have to realise the baby boomers where the children born after the war where everything was starting to pick up again and had a bit more then their parents.
Its not really a question of who is more spoilt due to the fact that since they were born life, technology and society has changed. Generation Y (I am in that generation) are seen as spoilt, unwilling to work, ungrateful and wanting everything now. But this is how Generation X (30+ year olds) were seen like this as well. Growing up your elders tell you that you can have it all and it is starting to back fire as no we can’t have it all BUT this is what we have been told our whole lives.
Every generation is spoilt in their own way. I know when I have kids they will have more options, technology and society will change yet again.
So it depends on how you view the changes in our world as it stands.

I think today’s kids are more spoiled in general with all the cell phones, computers, and other electronics. I”m not saying all kids do but many I see today have a sense of entitlement. BUT on the same note I hear stories of my father growing up (baby boomer) and his mom use to wrap his cheese burgers up in a McDonald’s paper because that was the only way he would eat it. UMMM so not happening in my house LOL the better eat or go hungry. Its a toss up. I guess it depends on the parents on both generations.

Every generation since the beginning of time thinks the generations after it are completely spoiled idiots-that’s how life works. In every generation some people are spoiled and some people are not-that was the case 2400 years ago and it will be the case with every generation from now on. Instead of judging people generationally, we should meet each person as an individual.
