Was the good for the economy?
In your opinion, do you think the increase in a population rising dramastically is good for the economy. Just like the baby boomers, the population worldwide increased so dramatically. Do you think there would be enough jobs and other resources available for everybody at the time. Please try and give as much detail as possible.

Its a good thing in my opinnion. Since the increased poputlation, people would have to go out and purchase whats needed to support a growing family. This would put the needed money back into the economy. People no longer “hoard” their money, yet they have to give it away becasue of their own needs.

Same as Americas economy now. With the holidays coming up, people are “willing” to spend to get gifts and needs for the holiday season. America would benifit from this because we are just putting money back into the system, and will have the economy prospour for awhile .

Good Luck

We are conducting an uncontrolled experiment in population growth. We have no idea what the outcome may be and yet we are fooling with our only life support system. Unlimited growth has already proven to be a disaster, witness the ongoing economic crisis. The best thing to do now if your not trying to be part of the solution is to hang onto something and hope to hell that something goes right for a change.

It might be good for the economy worldwide because productivity times workforce is GNP, but it might not. It will strain the infrastructure and press supplies of raw materials and resources as those people need support. Look, here is the major risk: the definition of money is markers that we use to facilitate the peaceful transfer of goods and services. Please stress the word peaceful. If it gets cheaper to go to war than to buy the resources, that is historically exactly what people do. The pressure politically to solve resource shortage problems is immense and destabilizing. Or they will move en masse to wherever the resources to sustain their lives and progeny are more available – and that is happening NOW in both the old and new worlds.
